• 9 Zentimeter unterhalb des 100-Watt Strahler wurde ein Petroleumthermometer auf gut 57 °C aufgeheizt. Eine 50-Watt-Lampe kam bei der gleichen Anordnung auf nur 40 °C. Die Umgebungstemperatur lag bei 20 °C. Im Abstand von 10 cm betrug die Temperatur nur noch 28 °C. Dazwischen lagen die Messungen bei 39 und 30 °C.
