• Strandflieder wächst auch flächig oder in Horsten, er kommt aber auch als Einzelpflanze in lockeren Verbänden daher. Hier sieht man eine Pflanze im östlichen Teil der Nordseeinsel Wangerooge. Typisch für den Strandflieder sind die dicken Blätter nahe am Boden. Im Hintergrund sieht man Schlickgras und Quellerpflanzen.
