• Typische Mauerziegel: quaderförmig und rötlich. Die Ziegel bestehen aus gebrannten Lehm und/oder Ton. Ein einzelner Ziegel kann gut 40 Gramm Wasser aufnehmen. Aus solchen Ziegeln werden vor allem Häuser und Mauern gebaut.
