Wave

... in German => wave => lex

Note: in (Anglosaxon) physics a wave is something distinct from a pulse. A wave is a periodic disturbance of particles in a medium (such as water molecules) propagating through space. A pulse is a similiar but non periodic disturbance. The closest German word for this meaning is "signal". But signal is not usually used in the context of physics. Hence no precise definition of a physical pulse can be gives. See also => lex
