Danzig
Gdanks is now a large Polish town and port at the south coast of the Baltic Sea. Until 1945 Gdansk was a primarily German town. However, during its long history it was often closely associated with Poland. Gdansk is famous for its beautifully restored buidling, many of which had before been destroyed at the end of Word War II.
